In the church of Jacobus de Meerdere in the village of Den Dungen I attended a funeral service. From the mother of someone from the carnival association. Sadly natural. I was distracted by the light that was left in the church through the stained glass windows. Most stained-glass windows in a church have biblical scenes. But on the side of the church there were also windows with small squares with a blue-green color. A fantastic relaxing color. Per window it flowed from dark to lighter. Like a sea. In honor of that moment, I made this artwork.
